NASCAR Powerball

Play Powerball® May 21, 2026, through July 22, 2026, for the chance to be the Rhode Island Lottery semi-finalist in the NASCAR® Powerball® The Chase promotion. The Rhode Island Lottery semi-finalist will win $2,000 and will be entered in the multi-state drawings.  The semi-finalist from Rhode Island Lottery will be drawn on July 24, 2026, along with one $1,500 winner and one $1,000 winner.

The Rhode Island Lottery semi-finalist, along with the semi-finalists from each participating lottery will enter a series of drawings to determine who will win additional cash prizes and advance to the next round in the chase until only 4 finalists remain.  Those 4 finalists will win a trip for 2 to the NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Homestead-Miami Speedway®.   At the race, a drawing will be held to select 1 finalist to win $1,000,000.  The other 3 finalists will win an additional $10,000.  The series of multi-state drawings for The Chase will take place as follows:

• Rhode Island Lottery Semi-Finalist Drawing - July 24, 2026 –
  • 1 Semi-Finalist Drawn to win $2,000 and advance to the first round of multi-state drawings. Cash prize winners of $1,500 and $1,000 will be drawn as well.
• Multi-State Drawing 1 – Announced September 27, 2026 –
  • 20 winners will advance in the chase and win an additional $3,000.
• Multi-State Drawing 2 – Announced October 18, 2026 –
  • 10 winners will advance in the chase and win an additional $5,000.
• Multi-State Drawing 3 – Announced November 1, 2026 –
  • 4 winners will advance in the chase and win a VIP trip for two to Miami, FL.
• Multi-State Drawing 4 – Drawn Live November 8, 2026 –
  • 1 winner will win $1,000,000, and the other 3 finalists will win an additional $10,000.

To enter, buy a Powerball® ticket from any Rhode Island Lottery retailer Thursday, May 21, 2026, through Wednesday, July 22, 2026.  Then, enter the Second Chance Code from the front of the ticket by 11:59:59 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, for your chance to be a semi-finalist. You can scan the QR code with the mobile app or enter the Second Chance Code manually. Only Powerball® tickets purchased at Rhode Island Lottery Retailers are eligible to be entered. Also, mark the dates for 4 upcoming NASCAR® races when we’ll give you double the entries on Powerball® tickets purchased these days: May 24, 2026; May 31, 2026; June 21, 2026; and July 19, 2026.

The Trip Prize will include:

• Roundtrip coach airfare for finalist and 1 guest to Miami, FL.
• Hotel accommodations for finalist and 1 guest – double occupancy
