$30,000 Mega Millions® Megaplier® Win
H. Wayne Willis of Attleboro, Mass., had some beginner's luck playing Keno for the first time ever over the weekend. He played a one-dollar wager on a six spot for ten consecutive games and matched all six numbers on the very first game played to win the base prize of $1,200. However, he doubled his wager to add Keno Plus, so that prize was multiplied by 10, the Keno Plus number, to win $12,000! The winner bought his lucky ticket from Dominic's Place, 1270 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, which just started selling Lottery products in July 2022. Mr. Willis plans to put the money in the bank for now.
Tuesday night's Mega Millions® draw also resulted in a big win in Rhode Island. There was a ticket winning $30,000 sold from Stop & Shop, 850 Manton Ave., Providence. The ticket matched four out of five numbers and the Mega Ball for the base prize of $10,000. The player added the Megaplier® feature for an additional dollar, so the prize was multiplied by three, Tuesday's Megaplier® number, to equal $30,000. That prize has not yet been claimed.
